Principal Update...Dr. Labadie

October 24, 2019

Hello Plumbrook Students and Parents,

A few important updates from Dr. Labadie in voice mail and email with downloadable flyers!

Knight Hero Lunchtime Volunteer Program... We are looking for some lunchtime Knight Heroes (Parents and Community Members)  to assist our students in the lunchroom and on recess.  Please read the flyer - if you are interested I would love to have you join our team!  Simply fill out the flyer and return to your child's teacher.

Pasta Fundraiser... The Positive Behavior Intervention Support Team (PBIS) is running a Pasta Fundraiser.  Any monies earned will be used to support positive behavior incentives.  Our goal is to sell 600 bags! That is about one bag of pasta for each student at Plumbrook. Please check out the flyer and consider participating. Thank you in advance!

Halloween Party... The Plumbrook Parent Group (PEP) is hosting a Halloween Party this Friday from 6:00-8:00 p.m.  Always a fun event for students, parents, and staff.  Please consider attending - in costume of course!  This is a family event - students must be accompanied by an adult:)

Safety is a Priority at Plumbrook!
*Parking Lot Drop Off and Pick Up Lane.... A reminder if you are using the Drop Off/Pick Up Lane.... Please be ready to let your children out of your vehicle on the right side of the car.  DO NOT PARK in this lane - it is a fire lane!  Please help keep traffic moving in this lane.  You are always welcome to park - turn off your car - and walk your children to the sidewalk or the building entry.

*Bus Lane reminder .... PLEASE do not park in the bus lane or walk between buses to get to your vehicles.  This is not a safe practice and puts our students at risk for getting hurt even when accompanied by an adult.

Spirit Week Next Week!
Monday- Hat Day
Tuesday- Twin Day
Wednesday- Jogging Suit Day - To support Building Healthy Communities Grant!
Thursday- HALLOWEEN COSTUMES
Friday- PJ Day

Have a fabulous last week of October!
